Julia
Holden practices in all areas of intellectual property law.
Julia
is an English solicitor and has been practising with Trevisan & Cuonzo Avvocati since its establishment in 1993.
She advises Anglo-American clients on intellectual property issues, in
particular in relation to all aspects of trade mark and copyright and
design law advising on Italian contentious and non-contentious issues,
anti-counterfeiting, unfair competition and customs monitoring. She works
with clients from a range of industries including the motor industry, the
food and fashion industry and with clients from publishing, broadcasting and the entertainment
sectors.
As
a partner in the firm, Julia is responsible for co-ordination between Trevisan & Cuonzo Avvocati and
its associated IP registration practice,
Intellectual Property & Business Consulting S.r.l. Before joining
the firm she worked at Slaughter & May in London and as in-house IP Counsel for the
Performing Rights Society, the UK Music Collecting Society.
Julia
writes regularly on intellectual property topics and has been a contributor
to a variety of International Trademark Association (INTA) publications.
She is a INTA committee member as well as a UK Anti-Counterfeiting Group
international committee member. She is also a member of the IBA and ITMA
(the UK Institute of Trade Mark Attorneys).
Julia
has been identified in the Expert Guides (Euromoney) as a leading trade
mark law practitioner.
Julia speaks English, Italian and German.
